Do you have questions?

Do you have questions?

When viewing our Livestream video or reading material on this website, you will likely have questions. You may have even heard things about the churches of Chriat that have caused some of those questions. Answering those questions will be the most important thing you do in your entire life. When seeking answers to any biblical question it is up to each of us to find the absolute truth. Each of us are obligated to search and know the scriptures. We encourage you to study your Bible to know the truth. There are widely used reference materials that can be of great beneifit to your learning efforts. I have found the greathest resourse is the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. This is availabe through many sources and is fairly inexpensive. Also eSword is an excellent computer program that can help you study the Bible. Remember that you must question everything that you have grown to accept.

It's Your Soul

We are not going to insult your intelligence by presenting something to that will leave you asking more questions, you are smart and can see the truth the way God intended, everyone can. We strive everyday to ensure we follow the Bible and do what it commands. In addition, we don't add anything to the Bible either.

When it comes to matters of Salvation the churches of Christ only want to speak where the bible speaks and remain silent where the Bible is silent. This helps to ensure our service to God is as pure as it can be. God is not the author of confusion, and we do not want to contribute to any confusion that may already exists. The Bible is very clear about what must be done to receive Salvation. Your Salvation is the most important thing to us and we desire to have everyone spend eternity in heaven, but not everyone will, "Many will say unto me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by they name cast out demons, and by they name do many mighty works? Then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity, Matthew 7:22-23. Not everyone will enter into Heaven, even those that profess to do good. Where will you spend eternity?

Who Will Go to Heaven

All who are obedient and faithful to God's Word and commands will inherit eternal life in heaven. Jesus went to prepare a place for those who will be faithful in their Christian life (John 14:1-6). It is an eternal house, not made with human hands (2 Cor. 5:1). Only those who are obedient and faithful to God will inhabit this spiritual resting place(Rev. 2:10; 22:4). Salvation, and thus eternal life in heaven, will be granted to those who obey God (Hebrews 5:9). Consequently, in order to go to heaven we must be faithful to all commandments given by God in His Word -- including the steps of salvation, faithfulness in our lives, and obedience in the commands of worship. When we stray in any area of our lives, we fall away and are separated from God (Is. 59:1-2). We must strive for perfection in our Christian lives, and when we fall short we must remember to repent and turn back to God in forgiveness (1 John 1:9).

Why don't you use instrumental music in worship?

Instrumental music is not used in worship because the Bible does not give the authority to use such in worship music. The commands found in the New Testament that creates the pattern for a Christian's worship only include singing to the Lord and one another (Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16).
